Hoa Lac High-Tech Park cooperates with institutes, schools and enterprises to prepare human resources to serve research activities and meet the needs when large projects come into investment.
The information was given by Mr. Tran Dac Trung, Deputy Manager of Hoa Lac High-Tech Park (HHTP) at the seminar on human resource development for the semiconductor industry on the afternoon of July 30. According to Mr. Trung, high technology and the semiconductor industry are the top priorities in attracting investment. In the near future, HHTP is expected to attract a number of large enterprises in the industry such as Samsung, Nvidia…
He believes that human resource development is a key factor in the semiconductor industry. To do this, it is necessary to connect the three parties: the state, schools and businesses. “HHTP is focusing on implementing this activity,” said Mr. Trung.

Mr. Trung said that this year and next year, HHTP will build a list to attract necessary social infrastructure projects to meet the needs of experts, researchers, students, and businesses working and studying. This place is also the headquarters of many large technology enterprises such as FPT, Viettel, VKIST, NIC… These units also participate in connecting and training semiconductor human resources to meet practical needs.
VKIST – a unit operating in Hoa Lac High-Tech Park, considers semiconductor industry as one of the 9 key industries for development. According to VKIST representative, in the coming time, with the support of the Korea Institute of Science and Technology, it will train human resources and build a laboratory for microchip research in Vietnam. The construction of the laboratory at VIKIST is expected to cooperate with Accretech company, a unit operating in the field of semiconductor manufacturing and precision measurement systems.

The leaders of HHTP determined to always accompany and share with institutes, schools and enterprises in investment activities, especially in training, research and development of semiconductor human resources to serve the development of Hoa Lac High-Tech Park and enterprises in the unit. “This creates a spreading influence and leadership in developing semiconductor human resources for Hanoi and the whole country,” he said.
Sharing on the sidelines of the workshop, Mr. Trung added that with the approval of the Capital Law, investment projects will receive corporate income tax incentives for 30 years instead of 15 years as before, along with social infrastructure mechanisms. In addition, HHTP is coordinating with the electricity industry to complete the electricity coordination center to help stabilize voltage and ensure clean electricity. Regarding the connection of the three houses, according to Mr. Trung, the state has a role in building policy mechanisms to both ensure management and promote schools, institutes and businesses. The state also plays a coordinating role, connecting the remaining houses to prevent fragmented and overlapping development, creating a strong enough network.
The leaders of Hoa Lac High-Tech Park hope that with the advantage of having many operating technology enterprises, they will successfully gather and develop national-level products to serve the socio-economic development of the locality and the whole country.
Established in 1998, Hoa Lac High-Tech Park currently has 108 valid projects with registered capital of over 5 billion USD and a workforce of about 25,000 people.
