New AI features in Gmail help you avoid mistakes and improve your email writing

Google Gmail has integrated its artificial intelligence, Gemini, into Gmail to simplify and improve the writing of emails. Now, users will be able to enjoy advanced features that make it easier to create more precise and well-structured messages.

New AI features in Gmail include “Help me write” y “Refine my draft”. The first tool allows you to adjust the tone and structure of the message at various levels, such as making it more formal, detailed or concise depending on the user’s needs. For example, you can turn an informal message into a more professional one or summarize a long text.

On the other hand, “Refine my draft” is designed to improve emails already in the writing process. This tool correct spelling mistakes and adjusts the structure of the text to ensure that the message is clear and coherent, facilitating rapid correction of errors and overall improvement of the content.

As Infobae points out, to use these features, users must enable them manually from the Gmail side menu, accessing the settings and selecting “Smart features and personalization.” In addition, these tools are not activated by default and are Available only for subscribers from Google Workspace, Education, Google One AI Premium, and those with Gemini Business and Enterprise.

With these innovations, Google aims to offer a more efficient and error-free email experience, adapting to the needs of users and improving the quality of their daily communications.
