Lifting heavy objects and adapting: this is the Chinese humanoid robot that could leave you without a job

LimX Dynamics It is a Chinese company that has been surprising with its advances with the Humanoid robot CL-1which is already operating in its own warehouse, moving with great ease and with the risk of leaving warehouse employees without work.

The robotic proposal has demonstrated that it can lift boxes weighing more than four kilos and place them from one shelf to another, at different heights. It does this by bending its limbs or raising itself beyond its height.

It’s not the only robot in ChinaThere are also the GR-1 robot and the Unitree G1. But this new proposal surprises by controlling its movements and interactions with the environment thanks to the use of generative artificial intelligence.

A report from the El EspaƱol-Omicrono website indicates that robots could replace humans in repetitive and dangerous jobs.

The CL-1 is 1.80 metres tall and weighs 80 kilos. It has sensors such as cameras, depth sensors and proximity sensors. In addition, it can walk, run, jump, see, hear, but above all it can interact with humans.

One of the keys is in the simulator and the Chinese company has announced that it will integrate the NVIDIA Isaac Sim robotic simulator to take even more advantage of reinforcement learning. However, it is not yet known whether the robot will be marketed soon.
