NIU’s new KQi 100P and KQi 100F electric scooters offer a range of 29 km and four driving modes

NIU has unveiled its new KQi 100P and KQi 100F electric scooters, which boast a range of up to 29 km and four adaptable riding modes, all powered by up to 600 watts of power.

The technology company has shared the features of its new electric scooter models at the IFA 2024 fair in Berlin, which stand out for introducing high-end features in models with a more affordable price.

In this regard, NIU has pointed out that the new KQi 100P and KQi 100F, which succeed the KQi1 series, have a power of 48 volts, which offers greater agility and constant and strong traction. Thus, these scooters can climb slopes of up to 15 percent without loss of performance.

To achieve this, both models have motors with up to 600 watts of power and up to 29 km of autonomy. They are also equipped with four driving modes, which are adjusted according to the preferences and needs of each user, through the NIU application.

SAFE AND COMFORTABLE DRIVING

When it comes to driving, the KQi 100P and KQi 100F scooters include a motorcycle-style grip throttle, designed for more comfortable and safe handling. This throttle has been designed with a wide handlebar for better grip.

They also feature 9.5-inch tires and a wide deck that NIU says allows the scooter to be safely maneuvered in urban environments. They also feature dual-tube front suspension, which has 36 mm of travel to improve handling on uneven surfaces.

The brakes on the KQi 100P and KQi 100F consist of a drum brake on the front wheel and a regenerative brake on the rear wheel, which allow for rapid deceleration while maintaining the user’s stability. It is worth noting that the brake’s regenerative function extends the battery’s autonomy and useful life.

These models have turn signals, which are located at the ends of the handlebars. They also have front and rear lights and side reflectors, which allow safe driving even in the dark, allowing you to see and be identified by other vehicles.

As for materials, NIU has pointed out that the KQi 100 models stand out for being made of high-quality automotive steel. As such, they meet the IP55 standard, offering protection against dust and splashes.

EASY TO TRANSPORT AND STORE

Finally, NIU has stressed that these new scooters have a compact and lightweight design, making them useful when transporting and storing them anywhere.

In this case, the KQi 100F model stands out, which includes a folding handlebar so it can be stored anywhere. In addition, it is also lightweight to ensure easy mobility.

NIU has indicated that the KQi 100P and KQi 100F scooters will be available in Spain at Christmas. They will be priced at 369 euros for the KQi 100P model and 399 euros for the KQi 100F model with folding handlebars.
