Boccia and Berlinguer’s truths about the missed interview

The Campanian entrepreneur Mary Rosaria Boccia, at the center of the events that led to the resignation of the former Minister of Culture Gennaro Sangiuliano, responds on Instagram to the host of ‘È sempre Cartabianca’, Bianca Berlinguer, who was supposed to interview her yesterday in prime time on Rete 4. Berlinguer, replying in turn to the ‘stories’ published this morning by Boccia, stated that the influencer “would have liked to see the questions in advance” and that, a few hours before the scheduled broadcast of the interview, he would have spoken to the journalist about the hypotheses that would have been at the origin of his failure to be appointed to the MiC, including “the concern for a possible conflict of interests” or “the pressure from Sangiuliano’s wife” and again “the shortcomings of his curriculum or finally the speech by Arianna Meloni”.

Boccia denies precisely this last detail reported by the journalist: “She asked me about Arianna Meloni and the nomination. I replied that I knew of the existence of a conversation between Sangiuliano and Arianna Meloni, but not that it was she who blocked the nomination”, writes the entrepreneur from Pompeii in a ‘story’ on Instagram, also sharing the screenshot of an article from the online version of La Repubblica in which Berlinguer’s words are reported.

“Bianca Berlinguer, tell the truth,” Boccia urged, before concluding, still referring to the journalist: “I remind you that this was the only moment in my story where she smiled twice, pleased, and was concentrated.”
