Three workers of the Red Cross were killed in Ukraine as a result of the Russian strike

As a result of shelling by Russian forces, three Ukrainian employees of the International Committee of the Red Cross were killed and two others were injured in the east of Ukraine. The incident took place in the village of Viroliubivka, Donetsk region.

“Another war crime of Russia. Today, the occupier attacked the vehicles of the humanitarian mission of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the Donetsk region,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on the X social network.

The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine reported that the Red Cross had brought fuel briquettes to the villagers to keep them warm during the winter and came under fire while unloading the aid.
