Ayatollah Ali Khamenei calls on Muslim countries to ‘sever all ties with Israel’

Iran’s spiritual leader, 85-year-old Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, spoke on Saturday, September 21, at the thirty-eighth International Conference of Islamic Unity, calling on Arab countries to “show solidarity in the face of the Zionist enemy,” Al-Manar reports.

Khamenei called on Muslim states to sever “all ties, both political and economic, with Israel, which, having failed to succeed in the fight against the heroes of the resistance, has unleashed its wrath on babies and women.”

Iran’s new president, Masoud Pezeshkian, who also spoke at the conference, said the reason “Israel continues to commit its atrocities is the lack of unity among Muslims.”
