Iranian authorities report arrest of 12 “Zionist regime mercenaries”

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has reported the arrest of 12 “mercenaries of the Zionist regime.” The operation against the Israeli agents was carried out in six provinces, according to the IRGC-affiliated Tasnim news agency. They were allegedly trying to destabilize Iran.

“After the failure of the plans of the Zionist regime and its American and European supporters to achieve their diabolical goals in Gaza and Lebanon, the criminal leaders of this fascist regime, hoping to escape strategic defeat, decided to seek to expand the crisis to the Islamic Republic,” the agency reports.
