Iran’s Oil Minister visits the terminal on Kharg Island, a possible target of an Israeli strike.

Iranian Oil Minister Mohsen Paknejad arrived on Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf, where the largest oil terminal in the Islamic Republic is located. This infrastructure facility is considered one of the likely targets of an Israeli strike.

As the Shana agency notes, the terminal is one of the 20 largest in the world. It can accommodate nine tankers at a time and has storage capacity of 23 million barrels of oil.

On October 5, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the Jewish state has every right to respond to hundreds of ballistic missiles fired at Israel by the Ayatollah regime.
