Airports in Iran are being shut down on an emergency basis

The Civil Aviation Authority of Iran announced the cessation of operations at Iranian airports starting at 21:00 (20:30 Jerusalem time) on October 6 and until 6:00 on October 7. According to the report, the decision was due to operational considerations.

As noted by many media outlets, including the Al-Jazeera TV channel, Iran is expecting a retaliatory Israeli strike after the Ayatollah regime launched a missile strike on Israeli territory on October 1. About 200 missiles were used.

On October 5, after the outcome of Saturday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel has every right and responsibility to respond to rocket attacks from Iran.

“Iran twice fired hundreds of ballistic missiles into our territory. No country in the world would tolerate such attacks on its cities and its citizens. Israel will not tolerate it either,” he said.
