Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority Muhammad Mustafa announced the formation of the National Commission for the Reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, headed by the Minister of Planning. The politician announced this at a government meeting.
According to him, the commission must prepare the ground for the resumption of services to citizens, develop a plan for infrastructure restoration, housing construction, and economic reconstruction.
“We are determined to thwart the plans of the occupiers and achieve the establishment of an independent state,” Mustafa said, noting that the Palestinian Authority continues to pay about 275 million shekels a month to Gaza.
