15 Palestinians die in an Israeli attack against displaced people in a hospital in northern Gaza

Sources cited by the Palestinian newspaper ‘Filastin’, linked to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), have indicated that the attack on the Yemen al Said Hospital, in the Jabalia refugee camp, has also left dozens of people injured, so It is not ruled out that the death toll will increase in the coming hours.

Shortly before, the Palestinian Red Crescent had indicated that three people had died in a bombing against the Al Rafaei school, located in Jabalia, the scene for days of a new ground operation by the Israeli forces, which issued several evacuation orders on Monday. for the population in northern Gaza, including three hospitals in the area.

The press office of the Gazan authorities has denounced 125 “martyrs” due to the Israeli attacks during the last five days in the north of the enclave and has warned of “the advanced phase of ethnic cleansing by the occupation against the people Palestinian”.

“The Israeli occupation Army is committing murders of civilians in the Northern governorate, especially in the Jabalia camp,” he said in a statement on his Telegram account, where he denounced “the international silence in the face of these crimes.”

Thus, he pointed to “the systematic murder of civilians, especially children and women” and added that “dozens of bodies are still lying in the streets.” Furthermore, he has denounced “a crime against humanity” by ordering the evacuation of shelters in this area of ​​the Strip.

For this reason, he has called on the international community to “stop the genocide and ethnic cleansing in northern Gaza” and to “work to deliver aid to tens of thousands of displaced people,” before emphasizing that Israel is using hunger as a a weapon of war, “especially in the Yabalia camp.”

Israel’s offensive against Gaza was launched after the aforementioned attacks on October 7, 2023, which left some 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped, according to Israeli authorities. Since then, more than 42,000 Palestinians have died, as the Gazan authorities have indicated, in addition to more than 740 Palestinians killed at the hands of Israeli security forces and in attacks carried out by settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem since that date. .
