Thieves were caught in Beirut and tied to poles in plain sight

Photos of thieves tied to poles in the streets of Beirut’s southern suburbs were shared today (Wednesday) on Arab social networks. These are young Lebanese from a certain area in the southern suburbs who arrested a number of thieves who took advantage of the unstable security situation in the country and the absence of the residents after they were evacuated to practice stealing in real time.

A number of thieves in Beirut took advantage of the precarious security situation and the absence of residents after they were evacuated from the area, and tried to practice stealing in real time, until they were caught by young people, and as punishment for their act they were tied to poles in the streets with a “Thief” sign.

When those thieves were caught, the young men tied them to posts with a sign on their body that said “thief”. The aforementioned incident comes against the backdrop of IDF attacks in the Da’aheh neighborhood in the heart of Beirut, simulating terrorist targets and infrastructure and the elimination of hundreds of Hezbollah terrorists over the past few weeks. This is at the same time as the speculations arising regarding Israel’s attack on Iran after it was attacked by the latter last week, including the attack on the oil facilities, the nuclear facilities or the military buildings in the country.
