A 39-year-old woman from Minnesota has confessed to sexually abusing two 15-year-old boys. According to the newspaper New York Post she met the two in a jacuzzi of a hotel where they were staying at the time. Allison Schardin admitted the offenses after previously pleading not guilty.
Schardin was staying at a hotel with her husband and two children on January 14 when she saw the two teenagers. They stayed in the hotel with their ice hockey team from Colorado. According to the complaint, she started talking to them and Schardin then allegedly exchanged contact information with the boys. A little later she allegedly texted one of them asking if she could come to his room because she was having an argument with her husband.
The complaint also states that Schardin told the boys that they were young enough to be her children, but that she then pressured them to perform sexual acts on her. A third boy would have had to watch. One of the boys described that he “didn’t know how to say no,” the complaint states. After returning home, Schardin contacted the boys again. She allegedly asked them not to contact the authorities. She is also said to have apologized to one of the boys.
Because she pleaded guilty, another charge was dropped. Prosecutors agreed to a sentence of up to eight months.
