Report: Hezbollah’s mid-level commanders fled to Iran and Iraq
In the shadow of the series of assassinations carried out by Israel against senior Hezbollah officials recently, many commanders in the middle ranks of Hezbollah have left for Tehran or Baghdad in recent days – this is what the Lebanese newspaper A-Nahar reported last night (Wednesday). It was also reported that the terrorist organization made major changes regarding the bodyguards of senior officials in the political and security ranks of Hezbollah, for fear of infiltration or a widespread breach in the ranks of the organization.

According to intelligence sources cited by Al-Nahar newspaper, Hezbollah recently acquired Russian-made drones – and there are some experts training Hezbollah terrorists to use them.

Ibrahim al-Amin, the editor of the Lebanese Al-Akhbar newspaper, which is considered Hezbollah’s mouthpiece, wrote in an article he published this morning: “The blow suffered by the resistance (Hezbollah) at the level of its central leadership was very severe, very large and very extensive, and it has a direct effect on Everything.”

At the same time, he noted that a “reorganization is underway, even under fire.” According to him, Hezbollah’s priorities “are not the same as what people assume, nor the rules that the enemy is trying to establish, through the policy of assassinations and destruction.”

Al-Amin emphasized that Hezbollah’s leadership anticipates that “the series of surprises by the enemy is not over. It should be expected that additional strikes may take different forms, all the working mechanisms are in a complete change, and this is something that requires effort, time and patience, and most importantly, complete silence.”

According to him, Israel is trying to put pressure on the public as well as on Hezbollah and its leadership, “under the assumption that working under the pressure of doubt produces more mistakes and provides it with more opportunities for additional vulnerabilities. This is something that the resistance is aware of, which makes it act precisely and calculatedly, even if it requires a lot of time More and more energy.”

Al-Amin pointed out that for many years, Hezbollah members got used to the central role of Nasrallah, who was “the nerve center of Hezbollah and the resistance. He had a part in every case, when in the last ten years this was manifested in a strong centralization in the leadership structure and decision-making” – which, according to him, made Israel think that his elimination “It will be a blow to the spine, not only of Hezbollah, but of an entire axis.”

“Therefore, we all need to adapt to the new situation, and not burden those who will come after him as it was in the past. If his constant lesson for us is to turn the threat into an opportunity, then today the resistance faces an opportunity to reorganize its affairs in a way that will open the door to a qualitative renewal on several levels, under the management , in its plans and means of work,” he added. “The decision to start an all-out war in everything related to the idea of the resistance, the issue, its people and its supporters, opened the door to a different kind of discussion that forces the people of the resistance to prepare for long-term fighting,” Al-Amin concluded.
