UEFA Nations League. The Armenian team brings a team from the Faroe Islands

In the third round of the UEFA Nations League tournament, the national football team of Armenia drew 2:2 with the national team of the Faroe Islands in Torshavn.

Ian Benjaminsen opened the scoring in the 37th minute with a shot from a distance, in the 44th minute Lukas Selarayan equalized with a free kick. At the end of the second half, the hosts took the lead again, in the 85th minute Ioannes Bjartalho scored a goal, but Gor Manvelyan restored the balance of the score with a beautiful shot from a sharp angle in the minutes added by the referee.

The match took place with the Armenian national team having a significant territorial and playing advantage.

In the other match of Group 4 of Division C, North Macedonia beat Latvia 3-0 at home.

After three rounds, North Macedonia leads the group standings with 7 points, Armenia is second with 4 points, Latvia is third with 3 points, Faroe Islands is fourth with 2 points.

In the next round, the Armenian national team will host the national team of North Macedonia on October 13.
