A drunken man roared and attacked foreign workers in front of a restaurant in Split: One was slightly injured

A drunk 36-year-old man and a woman attacked several foreign workers, food delivery workers, while they were waiting for orders in front of a fast food restaurant in Split. Namely, the man first insulted them, then physically hit one of the deliverymen who retaliated. But he didn’t stop there, he also punched other deliverymen, and then kicked their motorcycles, which fell to the floor, writes Dalmacija Danas.

– Yesterday, November 11, 2024, around 11:10 p.m., there was a violation of public order and peace in a fast food outlet. Namely, two persons, a man and a woman, in a particularly rude and rude manner, in an inebriated state, dissatisfied that they did not receive the order, started shouting and clamoring for their money back. A man entered the order picking area, threw a helmet against the wall and demanded his money back.

The man continued to disrupt public order and peace in front of the building after which he pushed a number of motorcycles to the floor and hit four food delivery men with his hand. One of them received a minor injury. A man and a woman were brought to the official premises. A 36-year-old man was inflated by 1.64 g/kg, and a 29-year-old woman by 1.34 g/kg. They were placed in the premises of the police until the effects of the alcohol stopped,” they revealed to us from the Split-Dalmatia Police Department.

Today, a criminal investigation will be conducted on them. The man will be investigated on suspicion of committing criminal acts of violent behavior, threats and damage to other people’s property, and in relation to the woman, on suspicion of committing crimes l.6 from the Act on offenses against public order and peace.

In relation to the damage to the motorcycle at the scene, an inspection was carried out and an investigation will be conducted after receiving the owner’s proposal to initiate criminal prosecution – the police told Dalmacija Danas.
