Tank truck explosion in Nigeria, nearly 100 dead

At least 94 people were killed and more than 50 injured when a tanker truck exploded in northern Nigeria. For an unknown reason, the car lost control and overturned.

The scene of the accident was cordoned off by the police, but their officers were unable to stop the crowd of people who wanted to profit from the free fuel flowing from the broken hull. An explosion in such a situation was almost inevitable.

In September, 59 people were killed when a tanker truck collided with a truck carrying people and livestock in Nigeria. As in the current case, many of them were so burned that it was impossible to establish their identity.
