Iran attacks Israel: Iran warns the UN that it will give a “decisive” response to an eventual Israeli attack

The Iranian foreign minister warned this Wednesday the secretary general of the HIM, Antonio Guterresthat his country is prepared to give a “decisive” response that Israel will be sorry if he attacks the Islamic Republic in retaliation for a missile bombardment.

Iran fired around 200 missiles against Israel on October 1, in revenge for the assassination of one of his generals and two protégés in the region: the leader of the Hamas Palestinian, Ismail Haniyeh last July in Tehran and the head of the Hezbollah Lebanese, Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut last month.

The Israeli Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant in turn promised that the Hebrew State will respond to this missile attack in a manner “deadly, precise and surprising.”

On the call, Araqchi stressed the need to stop Israeli attacks on Lebanon and asked that Israel lift the “obstacles” that prevent the distribution of humanitarian aid to the displaced.

Last week, Araqchi visited Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq and Oman to try to calm the growing tension.
