The Lebanese news agency Al-Markazia reported that the city’s mayor, Dr. Ahmad Kahil, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Nabatiyeh municipal building.
The Emergency Situations Center of the Ministry of Health reported that 15 people were killed and 52 were injured as a result of the attack on the Nabatiyeh municipal building. Along with the mayor, 11 other members of the municipal council were killed.
According to information published by the IDF, a tunnel used by Raduan militants was destroyed in the Nabatiyah area, and military buildings, terrorist headquarters and ammunition depots were also attacked.
