A decision was made to arrest the former mayor of Gyumri, Samvel Balasanyan, who is abroad. The press spokesman of the Investigative Committee confirmed the information.

Balasanyan has been in the USA for several months for treatment. Gor Abrahamyan mentioned that in this case a search will be announced.

Samvel Balasanyan is the fifth person involved in the case of expropriation of lands adjacent to the “Black Fort” fortress of Gyumri.
