The delegation of the armed forces participated in the NATO Operational Capability Concept Conference

On October 13-17, the Armenian delegation participated in the annual conference of NATO’s Operational Capability Concept (OCC) in Morocco, reports the Ministry of Defense.

Within the framework of the OCR process, units of NATO partner countries undergo an assessment of the level of interoperability with NATO forces within the framework of international missions.

Artur Yeroyan, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, who heads the Armenian delegation, had a number of meetings, including with the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Supreme Command of the Allied Forces in Europe, Vice Admiral Gunstein Bruasdali (Norway) and
With Brigadier General Martin Remesi (Slovakia), Head of the Military Cooperation Service of NATO’s EDUCA Partnership Directorate-Deputy Chief of Staff.

Issues related to cooperation were discussed.

  • Armenia-NATO relations began in 1992, when Armenia became a member of the North Atlantic Cooperation Council (NACC). Armenia’s relations with NATO are based on the Partnership for Peace (PFP) program, which Armenia joined in 1994.
