The leak of American intelligence documents on Israel: “The leak is very worrying”

After the report by Barak Ravid in Vala that a Telegram account associated with Iran published American intelligence documents about the Israeli preparations for an attack on Iran, the United States responded this morning (Sunday) to the allegations. A US government official told CNN that the leak was “very concerning”.

The documents, dated October 15 and 16, were published on Telegram by an account called “Middle East Spectator.” They are marked as top secret, a marking according to which they are to be revealed only to the eyes of the US and its “5 eyes” allies – Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Great Britain.

The documents describe the preparations Israel is allegedly making for an attack against Iran. One of them stated that the plans include the transfer of weapons from Israel. Another document allegedly originating from the National Security Agency describes the Israeli Air Force’s exercises involving air-to-surface missiles, also in preparation for an attack on Iran.
