At least two dead and 15 injured in a Russian attack on a residential area in Zaporizhzhia

At least two people have been killed and 15 others have been injured this Monday in a Russian attack on a residential area in the city of Zaporizhia, in southeastern Ukraine, according to the region’s governor, Ivan Fedorov.

“Two dead and fifteen wounded: the number of victims of hostile bombings in Zaporizhzhia has increased,” he said in a message on the Telegram social network.

Likewise, the regional head has stated that “doctors continue to examine the victims and provide them with all necessary assistance.”

Just last Sunday, the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, published on the social network X that “every day” Russia attacks cities in a “deliberate act of terror.” This week alone, he recalled, “about 800 guided aerial bombs and more than 500 attack drones of different types against Ukraine.”
