Harris thinks Trump is a fascist

The US presidential candidate Kamala Harris sees her Republican opponent in the presidential race as a former president Donald Trump, a fascist.

The Democrat made this during a public consultation on the US broadcaster CNN clearly on Wednesday evening. Moderator Anderson Cooper asked the 60-year-old: “Do you think Donald Trump is a fascist?” Harris answered without hesitation, “Yes, I do.”

The question was triggered by statements made by Trump’s former chief of staff John Kelly. He said the New York Timesin his view, Trump “falls under the general definition of a fascist.”

He referred to the description of fascism as an extreme right-wing, authoritarian and ultranationalist ideology, in which, among other things, there is a dictatorial leader and a suppression of the opposition.

Trump is “increasingly unstable” and “unfit for office,” Harris said. Former employees of the ex-president and close confidants have expressly pointed out that Trump despises the Constitution of the United States and should never hold the office of President of the United States again, said Harris.

With his statements about Trump, Kelly sent an “emergency call to the American people” to point out what could happen if he moved back into the White House. The people who could “hold Trump back” are no longer there. “I believe Donald Trump is a threat to the well-being and security of America,” Harris said.

Harris gives “closing speech” against Trump in Washington

Kamala Harris will make a “closing argument” against her Republican rival Donald Trump on Tuesday, according to a representative for her campaign. Harris is planning her speech at the place in Washington where Trump spoke to his gathered supporters before his supporters attacked the US Capitol on January 6th.

The incumbent vice president wanted to draw a sharp contrast between her political vision and that of Trump, which Harris said was characterized by chaos and division, her campaign representative said on condition of anonymity. The choice of the symbolic location was intended to draw attention to how Trump’s second term in office could turn out.

On January 6, 2021, fanatical supporters of Trump stormed the US Capitol in Washington – the seat of both chambers of Congress – just as US President Biden’s election victory was about to be officially confirmed there. Shortly before, Trump had incited his supporters in a speech with the out-of-the-air accusation that Biden’s election victory had come about through fraud.

Trump and Harris are running against each other in the presidential election on November 5th. Trump wants to return to the White House after his first term in office (2017-2021) and his election defeat in 2020.
