Bavaria: Youth gang tyrannizes an entire city

Geretsried (Bavaria) – They run through the city at night with blank pistols and shoot around. They set cars on fire, get into fights, steal, graffiti on walls, break windows and threaten people.

The unemployed Tobias B. (20) and Leon R. (19) lead a youth gang (around 20 members) from Geretsried (Bayern). The gang now has a seemingly endless list of crimes. A police spokesman: “In total there were over 76 investigations initiated. At some point we stopped counting.”

The police have their hands full with the youth gang, and residents suffer from the actions – for example, because they can no longer go to popular places.

Saleswoman Gina (20): “The Böhmerwiese is a meeting place for young people. It is outside the city. You can hear loud music there. Party make. You don’t bother anyone.”

But: “If the two of them show up with the gang and shoot around, the police will come and close the Böhmerwiese to everyone.”

Tobias and Leon didn’t even shy away from firing blank guns or smoking a joint in front of a Geretsried police station. They are obviously proud of their actions and even spread pictures of them on social media.

Weapons and cell phones confiscated

The two have been said to be tyrannizing citizens for over two years. Since September 2023 the police House searches were carried out several times, weapons were confiscated and cell phones were confiscated following a court order.

Jürgen B. (55) is Tobias’ father. The police also targeted him. The police spokesman: “He is accused of aiding and abetting some crimes.” Among other things, he is said to have picked up his son and his friend Leon from crime scenes and hidden them.
