US authorities called on Iran to refrain from attacks on Israel

A representative of the US leadership spoke at a special briefing for journalists on the topic of Israel’s attack on military targets in Iran.

“As for the direct exchange of military strikes between Israel and Iran, we believe that this is (the current series of strikes by Israel in response to the Iranian missile attack on October 1 – editor’s note) must complete this direct exchange… What happened must be the end of it,” said a representative of the US leadership, noting that many other countries in the Middle East region, including those with close ties with Iran, share a similar position.

“We have numerous channels (of communication) with Iran, direct and indirect,” the American official emphasized.
