Iran says two soldiers were killed in the Israeli attack

Iran said two soldiers were killed in an Israeli attack and confirmed that military facilities around the capital Tehran and other parts of the country were targeted.

Tasnim news agency reported that Iran is resuming flights as usual after a short interruption.

Earlier, local media reported explosions in Tehran and the nearby city of Karaj.

The explosions were also reported by state television and the Fars news agency, as well as CNN.

Israel’s military says its “targeted and precise” attack on Iran in response to Iranian attacks on Israel earlier this month is over.

The Israeli military targeted “missile production facilities” where, according to an IDF spokesman, Iran produced the missiles used to attack Israel.

In early October, Iran launched a massive missile attack on Israel. It followed Israel’s announcement that the IDF was “conducting limited ground operations against Hezbollah structures and infrastructure in southern Lebanon” and that these operations were “based on accurate intelligence.” The ground operations in Lebanon were preceded by massive airstrikes by the Israeli army on targets associated with Hezbollah, recognized as a terrorist group in the United States.
