Khamenei: “Israelis should feel the strength, determination and innovation of the Iranian people”

The Supreme Leader (Rahbar) of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, issued a statement on Sunday, October 27, announcing that the relevant structures in the Iranian leadership have been tasked with determining how Tehran will demonstrate its strength to Israel this time.

“The Israelis must feel the strength, determination and innovation of the Iranian people… How to convey this strength to the Zionist regime, and what exactly should be done in the interests of the Iranian people, is up to our officials to decide,” Khamenei said.

Many commentators interpreted this statement as the Iranian leadership’s willingness to refrain from a direct military response this time, but to try to use other methods to harm Israel.
