Jordan reported a UAV intrusion into its airspace

Jordanian government spokesman Muhammad al-Momani said that two drone incursions into the kingdom’s airspace have recently been recorded in the provinces of Irbid and Jerash. Note that both of these provinces are located near the Syrian and Israeli border.

He said that the fragments of the UAV fell on the territory of the kingdom. “All necessary measures are being taken to suppress such incidents,” al-Momani said, without going into detail regarding the details of the incident, including the identity of the UAV.

“The Jordanian army is ready to confront any security threat. We do not intend to become the battlefield of a regional war and will not allow aircraft, missiles and UAVs into our airspace, no matter who they belong to,” he said.
