Dmitry Peskov: Putin no longer intends to communicate with Biden

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov did not rule out that Vladimir Putin will have a conversation with the newly elected American President Donald Trump even before the inauguration.

Peskov noted that the Russian leader does not intend to communicate with current US President Joe Biden. “We are not working with the Biden administration. There are some meager channels for technical communication, but they are not of a substantive nature,” he noted.

On the morning of November 7, Peskov denied media reports according to which Putin informally congratulated Trump on his victory through mutual acquaintances. According to these publications, Russia is counting on a reduction in American aid to Ukraine.
