During an attack on Kyiv, a Russian drone hit the house where the Estonian ambassador lives

During the Russian attack on Kyiv on November 7, a drone hit the residential building where Estonian Ambassador to Ukraine Anneli Kolk lives, Meduza reports, citing the head of the Estonian Foreign Ministry, Margus Tsahkna.

“She was lucky that she was not hurt. No one in Ukraine is safe until Russia stops its aggression. Ukraine needs more air defense systems to protect its citizens. We should not get used to this,” the minister said.

Anneli Kolk said that the drone hit the apartment building where she lives in the early morning of November 7. As a result of the incident, according to her, no one was injured.

On the night of November 7, the Russian Army launched 106 drones across Ukraine, the command of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported. The Ukrainian military shot down 74 drones, and another 25 drones were “locally lost” in different regions of Ukraine. In Kyiv, as city authorities reported, debris from downed drones fell in four districts and caused fires.
