Trump wants to fill government posts without Senate approval

Donald Trump wants the Senate not to interfere in the appointment of his future members of government. He announced this on X. Normally the Senate must confirm appointments of ministers, judges, ambassadors and top officials by the American president, first in a committee and then in the plenary meeting. However, a little-used provision in the U.S. Constitution says the president can fill such posts without approval when the Senate is in recess.
