The SLO CRO Business Club decided on such a change in order to raise its agenda to a new level. With its seventy members, SHGK strives to connect Croatian and Slovenian businessmen.
President of SHGK Saša Muminović said that the SLO CRO Business Club started as a project of enthusiasts with the help of embassy of the Republic of Slovenia and several entrepreneurs, and it has developed into a place where businessmen from both countries can meet and make new contacts.
“Economic exchange between Slovenia and Croatia has increased more than three times since we founded SLO CRO Poslovni klub, and we can say that the countries are among the top five importers and exporters,” said Muminovi. .
As the closest point of contact between Slovenia and Croatia, they cite tourism and various investments and projects that they offer to tourists to visit both countries.
“We need to recognize the potential of tourism, which can connect us even more and encourage us to turn to mutual cooperation in other economic branches,” said SHGK vice-president Ivana Kolar.
The goal of SHGK is to enable the creation of new contacts and the opening of the markets of both countries, but also to focus on the large European market.
“I think we can do a lot more with the academic community in Croatia and Slovenia,” said the ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia, Gašper Dovžan, about the next steps of SHGK.
