A foggy autumn morning in November brought the first minus temperatures. -4.1 °C was measured at Zavižan, which is the lowest temperature measured on Tuesday, November 12 at 8 am in Croatia. In Sinj this morning, many people were freezing to -3.8 °C, and in Gruda -3.2 °C was measured. The same temperature minus was recorded in Pazin. There are still minuses in Puntijarka on Medvednica, -2.1 °C and in Pargo in Čabr, -0.7 °C.
According to the forecast of the State Hydrometeorological Institute, it will be excessively sunny on the Adriatic and in the interior of Dalmatia and Istria on Tuesday. It will be cloudy in the rest of the country, and light rain or drizzle may fall locally, especially in Gorska Hrvatska. In the morning, it can be foggy in some places. But moreć even lower temperatures are expected tomorrow, and even snow in the mountains.
The wind will be mostly weak, while there will be moderate gales on the Adriatic, especially at the foot of Velebit, where a strong gale with storm surges is expected. A weather alert is in effect for the entire Adriatic, Kvarner and Istria. For the Velebit area, red, the highest level of preparedness, is in effect, indicating extremely dangerous weather. According to DHMZ, the strongest wind gusts will be up to 120 km/h.
– The weather is very dangerous and implies a high level of danger for health, and even life-threatening situations, especially for seafarers. Also, there is a significant risk of damage to the coastal infrastructure. Be aware of the danger and pay attention and follow the latest weather reports – meteorologists warned and advised citizens to avoid traveling and staying near endangered coastal areas. It is very likely that the ferries will not sail.
An orange alarm is in effect for the Kvarner area, indicating dangerous weather, and wind gusts of up to 100 km/h are also expected.

The highest air temperature will be from 3 to 7 °C, while it will be warmer on the Adriatic, between 13 and 18 °C.

For Wednesday, meteorologists forecast that it will be excessively cloudy in most parts of the interior, and locally there is a possibility of drizzle. It will continue to be sunny on the Adriatic and in the interior of Istria and Dalmatia, but clouds will gradually increase there. Towards the evening, it will rain in places, especially in the south of Croatia, and in the mountainous regions of the interior, precipitation on the border between rain and snow is possible in some places.
On the Adriatic, the storm will still not stop with storm surges. During the day, the northwest will blow, but at night the gale will strengthen again. The lowest morning air temperature will be from -2 to 3 °C, on the Adriatic between 4 and 9 °C. The highest daily temperature is from 4 to 8 °C, on the Adriatic from 13 to 17 °C.
