The Palestinian Ministry of Health has indicated in a statement that during the last 48 hours there have been “five massacres” at the hands of Israeli forces, which have left 62 dead and 147 injured, bringing the total numbers to 43,665 “martyrs.” and 103,076 injured, respectively.
However, he has warned that “there are still victims among the rubble and lying in the streets, without ambulances and Civil Defense teams being able to reach them”, so the number of victims would be much higher. Gazan authorities have stated on several occasions that at least 10,000 people are listed as missing.
The offensive against Gaza was launched after the aforementioned attacks on October 7, 2023, which left some 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped, according to Israeli authorities.
