HAK: Due to the strong wind, there are numerous traffic restrictions

Due to the wind, the following sections of the highway A1 Sveti Rok-Posedarje are closed for all traffic, and the tour is only for passenger vehicles via state roads via Gračac, Obrovac and Karin, for all other vehicles via Gračac, Knin and Kistanja, and closed is also the state road DC54 Maslenica-Zaton Obrova, HAK reported on Friday morning.

Due to the wind, the ferry line Prizna-Žigljen and the catamaran line Jelsa-Bol-Split are suspended.

The following are open for private vehicles only: the A6 Rijeka-Zagreb highway between the intersections of Kikovica and Delnica (the tour for other groups of vehicles is on the old road through Gorski kotar-DC3), Jadranska magistrala (DC8) between Karlobag and Sveta Marija Magdalena and state road DC27 Gračac-Zaton Obrovački-Donji Karin.

Due to the wind: traffic is prohibited on the Adriatic highway (DC8) between Novi Vinodolski and Senj for double-decker buses, vehicles with caravans and motorcycles (vehicle group I), and between Senj and Karlobag there is also a ban for delivery vehicles vehicles and vehicles with a covered cargo space (I and II vehicle groups).

The cargo vehicle is broken down on the A3 Bregana-Lipovac highway between the Lučko and Buzin junctions in the direction of Lipovac and is driving in one lane with a speed limit of 80 kilometers per hour.

Traffic density has increased: on the Solin-Klis expressway (DC1) in the direction of Split; on the Adriatic highway (DC8) in Solin and on the section between Stobre and Podstrana.

On the coast, a strong gale blows with stormy winds, locally at the foot of Velebit and hurricane-like gusts. Due to low temperatures, icing is possible, especially on bridges and overpasses. There is also fog in some places.

Traffic is prohibited on the Bjelopolje-Donji Lapac state road (DC218) for vehicles that do not have prescribed winter equipment and for trucks with attached vehicles, due to winter conditions.

On the occasion of the holiday “Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Homeland War and Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Vukovar and Škabrnja”, there will be a ban on heavy-duty motor vehicles, the maximum permissible weight of which is over 7.5 tons, on certain roads in Istria and the coast (there is no ban on highways and state road DC1): on Friday, November 15 from 3 to 11 p.m. and on Monday, November 18 from 2 to 11 p.m.

Over the Ilok-Bačka Palanka bridge, vehicle traffic is allowed, the maximum weight allowed is up to 24 tons, the formation of vehicle columns on the bridge is prohibited and the speed of movement is limited to 30 kilometers per hour.

The road leading from GP Slano, located on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is occasionally closed, while the aforementioned border crossing is open to traffic.
