A burst water pipe on Berlin’s Schloßstrasse causes restrictions on the subway and buses

A water pipe broke on Schloßstrasse in Berlin-Steglitz on Friday night. The traffic information center (VIZ) announced this on the X platform. The street was closed towards the city center at Feuerbachstrasse, it was said in the morning.

The burst water pipe is causing restrictions on buses and trains: According to VIZ, the U9 subway line is currently interrupted between the Rathaus Steglitz S-Bahn and subway station and the Walther-Schreiber-Platz subway station. The Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) informs in its app that replacement transport cannot be offered.
