Knife stabbing at Chinese university, at least 8 people died

“The knife attack occurred at Ho Tich Technical Academy at 6:00 p.m. today (7:00 p.m. Hanoi time), killing 8 people and injuring 17 people. The suspect was arrested at the scene,” said regional police. Yixing is located in Wuxi city, Jiangsu province, eastern China, the announcement said.

A 10-year-old boy of Japanese descent died in a stabbing incident at a school in Shenzhen on October 18.

In May, a woman stabbed two people with a knife and injured 10 people at a primary school in Guixi city, Jiangxi province. Also this month, a knife attack at a hospital in Yunnan province left two people dead and 21 injured.
