Windsor Castle robbed while Kate, William and their three children slept

When William and Kate, the Princes of Wales and their three children slept at Adelaide Cottage in the park gardens of Windsor Palace, two masked robbers broke into the property inside the safest royal estate in the kingdom, next to his house, and they took a truck and agricultural machinery.

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: “At around 11.45pm on Sunday 13 October, we received a report of a burglary at a property, on land in Crown Estate, near the A308 in Windsor,” he explained.

“The criminals entered a farm building and took a black Isuzu truck and a red quad. They then headed towards the Old Windsor/Datchet area. “No arrests have been made at this stage and an investigation is ongoing,” the source said.
