On the night of November 24, a shooting was reported near the Israeli embassy in Amman (the capital of Jordan). The Al-Arabiya TV channel reported that the streets near the diplomatic mission, in the Rabia area, are blocked, and ambulances are at the scene. Authorities urged local residents to stay indoors.
Later, as Reuters reports citing a security source, it became known that an armed man was shot dead near the embassy, and three police officers were wounded in the shootout.
Previously, mass protests have repeatedly taken place near the Israeli Embassy in Amman.
