The ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah can be reached within a few days. US Ambassador

Israel’s ambassador to the United States of America has announced that a cease-fire agreement between Israel and Lebanon-based Hezbollah could be reached “within days.”

“Hezbollah” has been recognized as a terrorist organization by the USA, the European Union has included only its armed wing in its blacklist, not the political one.

Ambassador Mike Herzog told Israel Army Radio on Monday that several points remained to be finalized and that any deal would require government approval. But, he added, they are close to a deal and “it could happen within days.”

Among the issues still not agreed upon is Israel’s demand to reserve the right to act if Hezbollah violates its commitments under the emerging deal, which aims to pull Hezbollah and Israeli troops out of southern Lebanon.
