An Israeli bombing leaves at least eleven dead in a school with displaced people in Gaza

At least eleven people have died and about 30 have been injured by a bombing launched this Tuesday by the Israel Defense Forces on a school in the capital of the Gaza Strip that housed civilians displaced by the current conflict, local sources report.

The attack took place in the Al Zeitun neighborhood, in the southern area of ​​Gaza City, according to sources consulted by the WAFA news agency and by Filastin, a portal linked to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).

The Gaza Ministry of Health has registered nearly 44,250 deaths since the start of the Israeli military offensive on the Strip more than a year ago, following the attacks carried out on October 7, 2023. In addition, more than 104,000 people have been injured in this time.
