The press publications regarding the organization of leaks containing state secrets by the member of the National Assembly Hovik Aghazaryan were sent to the Anti-Corruption Committee to resolve the issue of initiating proceedings, the General Prosecutor’s Office informed in response to the written request of “Azatutya”.
Deputy Aghazaryan’s phone was seized by the Anti-Corruption Committee, who assured the deputy that they were interested only in the case of the incident with the former head of the Investigative Committee.
This story was preceded by the request of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The head of the government sent a message to two deputies about the resignation of the mandate. The next day, Narek Zeynalyan complied with Pashinyan’s request, but Aghazaryan resisted.
The Prime Minister announced in the parliament that they will find a way to deprive the former teammate of his mandate.
