Isak Andic was born in 1953 in Istanbul, but at the age of 14 he left his hometown with the rest of his family to settle in Barcelona, ​​where he would end up becoming one of his most successful adopted children.

In 1972 he laid the first stone for the construction of his empire, by selling the first four blouses he brought from Istanbul to a store. In the following months he opened several multi-brand stores and then launched his own brand, “Isak”, the embryo of what would later become “Mango”.

The Forbes list estimates Isak Andic’s assets at around 4.5 billion euros, which had made him the fifth richest person in Spain.
