The ceremony, held in New York, at Casa Cipriani on Friday 13 December, brought together 500 guests including journalists and prominent figures, including the Secretary General of the United Nations António Guterres and the actor Theo James, former Goodwill Ambassador of the United Nations, awarded the title Global Citizen of the Year during the evening.
