Morricone (son) arrives for the Christmas concert at the Chamber

Maestro Andrea Morricone, interpreting many of his father Ennio’s famous compositions, will conduct the Christmas concert at the Chamber of Deputies, opened by a greeting from President Lorenzo Fontana. The event will be broadcast: on Rai1, by Rai Parliament, Monday 23 December at 3.30 pm, on the Chamber’s web TV and on the satellite channel.

The program, introduced by the Italian anthem, embraces the most famous pieces of Ennio Morricone’s music, from “Gli Intoccabili” to “The Mission”, also ranging through traditional Christmas carols such as “Adeste fideles”. The music will be performed by: the Roma Sinfonietta orchestra, conducted by Maestro Andrea Morricone and the Claudio Casini Choir of the University of Rome Tor Vergata directed by Maestro Stefano Cucci. The artistic direction is by Luigi Lanzillotta.
