Hartenstein wins ninth game in a row with the Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder around German center Isaiah Hartenstein have continued their successful run in the NBA. With a 120:114 (53:61) win over the Indiana Pacers, the team extended its series to nine wins in a row. No other team in the North American Basketball League has a longer streak.

With 24 wins and five defeats, the Thunder remain the undisputed leaders in the Western Conference, which Hartenstein also played a part in. The 26-year-old scored eleven points and 13 rebounds against Indiana, giving him a double-double in each of his last five games. The outstanding player for the Thunder was Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who set his career high with 45 points.

Orlando loses to Miami in the last second

The Orlando Magic lost the duel between the two teams from Florida against the Miami Heat 88:89 (52:41), and in the final second Tyler Herro hit the game-winning shot for Miami. Without the injured Wagner brothers Franz and Moritz, Orlando’s third German player, Tristan da Silva, played a good game, recording 18 points and six rebounds. The Magic remained fourth in the Eastern Conference.

Daniel Theis had to admit defeat again with the New Orleans Pelicans: After the 111:128 (43:61) defeat against the Houston Rockets, the Pelicans have had to wait eight games for a sense of success, with only five wins and 26 defeats weakest team in the entire NBA. Theis scored two points and five rebounds.
