Many in the world were amazed yesterday (Thursday) to discover photos and documents of China’s new and advanced stealth fighter jets. China did not officially reveal the planes, and for now not many details are known about them, but they were recorded in the sky during what appears to be a training or test flight, and the photos were published on social networks.

Defense experts told Reuters that at this stage there is no real possibility to measure and remotely test the capabilities of the new fighter jets, but many in the world have already identified them as “6th generation planes”. In the published documents they appear to be diamond-shaped, and there is a consensus that from a design point of view they appear to be advanced and unusual tools.

Reuters said the design of the new stealth planes is “tailless,” meaning they have no vertical stabilizers to help control the plane. Such aircraft are often based mainly on computer control that intervenes in the pilot’s actions to maintain control of the aircraft.

Reuters actually revealed two different but similar types of the new plane, and they have similar characteristics. One of the notable features of both aircraft is the lack of right angles – which helps them reduce their radar exposure.

The Ministry of Defense of China refused to comment on the publication of the new photographs, but the world estimates that these are unusual planes with advanced capabilities. Over the past few years, the Chinese army has been undergoing a process of modernization and upgrading to the extent of hundreds of billions of dollars. Among other things, China is greatly strengthening its land and sea forces, in part with new aircraft carriers, as well as its advanced missile array, as well as its nuclear weapons arsenal.
