A woman from Serbia poured cleaning agent on her partner, claims she was defending herself. He suffered burns

A bizarre case was recorded on November 28 in Negotin, where a woman poured a strong cleaning agent on her partner during an argument, writes Telegraph. According to her words, the action was self-defense because the man allegedly raped her,

However, the current senior public prosecutor did not find evidence that would confirm her justification for this brutal attack, and a criminal complaint was filed against her. However, the woman has not been taken into custody for now, nor has she been detained in custody.

The man was first treated in Negotin, but due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred to the University Clinical Center in Niš. He received burns on his pelvis, genitals, muscles under the spine, both upper legs and forearms. The prosecutors are therefore waiting for the doctor’s report on the degree of injuries, after which they will decide on further action. If the doctors determine that it is a serious physical injury, the woman who attacked the man from Negotin could spend up to eight years behind bars.
